Mysha

Reception Management Lead

Mysha has lived all over Alberta from Lethbridge to Fort McMurray but did most of her growing up in Spruce Grove where she attended WoodHaven Jr. High and Spruce Grove Composite High School. She has always been a lover of animals big and small, and had hopes of working in the animal world one way or another. From being an in house pet sitter to volunteering her time at shelters she was always getting her animal fix somehow without having a dog of her own. She now lives in Spruce Grove with her high school sweet heart James and their two cats, Bobby and Billy.

Mysha takes a special interest in animal behaviour, and is currently working towards a Dog Behavioural Methodology Training certificate. We are very lucky to have her behavioural knowledge at Tri-Municipal Veterinary Clinic!

Kate grew up in Edmonton Alberta and has always had a huge passion for animals! Since she was young she knew she wanted to be in the veterinary industry. Kate attended NAIT and played college volleyball while getting her Veterinary Medical Assistant diploma in 2021 and Personal Fitness Training diploma in 2023.

She lives in Edmonton with her Husband Jared and their two dogs Walter and Frankie and two cats Steve and Caymus. In her spare time, Kate loves snowboarding, volleyball, binge watching her favourite reality tv shows, and hanging with her animals and family in her spare time!

Mikayla

Mikayla grew up outside of Stony Plain and has always had a passion for animals big and small. It was this love for animals at such a young age that drove her to enrol in LakeLand College and complete her Veterinary Medical Assistant certification.
In her free time, Mikayla can be found spending time with family outdoors or cuddling her favourite golden retriever, Nala! Mikayla is always enthusiastic about meeting new clients and getting to know their furry companions!

Brooke

Clinic Assistant

Brooke was born and raised in St. Albert. Her love for animals started after attending a horse summer camp. From there her animal family grew starting with bunnies, then a dog, birds, horses, cats and just recently a tortoise. One of her main hobbies, aside from snowboarding, quadding and sledding is horse back riding. Over the years she has trained in both English and Western although her passion is Western. She has also been a volunteer for therapeutic riding lessons as well as helped at a ranch doing mountain trail rides.

After graduating high school, it was an easy decision for Brooke to know how she wanted to spend her days, given her love of animals. Brooke is in the process of completing the online Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Associate Degree, while at the same time working to gain first hand practical clinic experience. In the future, Brooke hopes to gain more experience working with large animals.

Olivia

Clinic Assistant

Olivia was raised on a grain and beef farm where she still resides south of Spruce Grove. She has always been an animal lover.

Olivia has previously worked with dogs & cats, and for the last 3 years gained experience at a show jumping barn taking care of horses. She has 2 horses & three dogs – Bear, Ginger, and Louie, and 2 pot belly pigs. Olivia has dreams of pursuing a career in the animal field.

In her spare time, she loves horseback riding, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah

Clinic Assistant (maternity leave)

Sarah spent most of her life growing up in Stony Plain before moving to an acreage by Onoway. She always knew animal care was something she wanted to pursue but did not decide to take that step into the world of small and large animals until recently. In her downtime, Sarah enjoys hunting, camping, fishing, horseback riding and rodeos. Family is a big part of her life and her family includes her fiancé, new daughter, and her four dogs and three cats .
