Dr. Julianne Lavoie, originally from Saskatoon, SK, has harboured a deep passion for working with animals since childhood, leading her to pursue a fulfilling career in veterinary medicine. Her early experiences included spending summers at her grandparents’ dairy farm in St. Isidore, AB, and participating in the Sask Valley Dairy 4-H Club, which sparked her interest in the field. She earned her degree in Animal Bioscience from the University of Saskatchewan and went on to graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.

Julianne has a particular fondness for small animals, especially cats and dogs, and thrives on the challenges presented in mixed animal practice. Her areas of interest include internal medicine and surgery, and she is keen on expanding her expertise in ultrasonography.

When she’s not working, Julianne enjoys experimenting with new cooking recipes, hiking, reading, and playing the piano. She cherishes the time spent with her two beloved cats, Tula and Cleo, and values the moments of relaxation they provide.
