Aaizah has lived in south Edmonton for over 15 years. She became interested in entering the veterinary field during her undergraduate years at Grant MacEwan University, but her love for animals goes all the way back to her childhood days. Aaizah grew up with parrots, pigeons, corn snake, and cats. On occasion, the family would get a cow or goat that Aaizah would love to care for and take on walks around the neighborhood!
Aaizah graduated from the Animal Health Program at NAIT in the summer of 2021. Before becoming an AHT, Aaizah gained volunteer experience working with animals of all kinds. The highlight of her experiences would be working with wildlife during her internship at WildNorth, and most recently working with all kinds of farm animals at her practicum. Her main goal is to provide every patient with the utmost care and respect, and to always address the client’s concerns as best she can. Aaizah is always amazed by how much animals can teach us, and is eager to learn even more throughout her career. Meanwhile, a very rambunctious cat named Bravo, and two adorable budgies named Pereigh and Benito teach her lots!
In her spare time, Aaizah can be found reading, volunteering with various organizations, or finding beautiful hikes to go on with her sister who shares her love of the outdoors and animals!
Brianne was born and raised in Spruce Grove. Since she was young, Brianne has always had a love for animals. She would often go to her grandfather’s cattle farm as a child to help out, further deepening her passion for large animals. Brianne’s love of horse back riding can be attributed to her father, who inspired her to ride and helped her to acquire her first horse at the age of 11.
After completing a Bachelor of Science at Grant MacEwan, Brianne then continued to further her education enroling in the Animal Health Technologist program at NAIT. Now Brianne resides in Stony Plain with her cat Milo. In her downtime, Brianne enjoys sports – especially watching football and cheering for her brother who plays for the Calgary Stampeders!
